LFW's takes a look ahead to this weekends action in the Coca Cola Championship.

Welcome back to LFW's look at life elsewhere in the Coca Cola Championship. As we near the end of the season, it us looking more and more likely that certain clubs just do not want to get promoted. The battle to avoid the drop is also hotting up, but it comes to an end for Colchester, who were relegated last night following Barnsleys impressive win at Watford - we wish them well.

Moving onto the weekend and Sky have selected what is the stand out game of the day, as new league leaders, West Brom take on Watford at the Hawthorns. The Baggies went back to the top beating Blackpool on Tuesday, following their unlucky exit from the FA Cup at the hands, quite literally, of Portsmouth.

Staying at the top end and second placed Bristol City face an in form and play off pushing Wolves side at Ashton Gate. Stoke travel to the Ricoh Arena to face Coventry and Palace will be looking to remain in the top six with a home game against Scunthorpe, for whom this is a must win game.

Staying at the bottom and now firmly in the bottom three are Ian Holloway's Leicester. The Foxes take on the already relegated Colchester at the Walkers Stadium. Hovering just above them are Sheffield Wednesday who must wait until Monday night for their turn and take on Plymouth at Hillsborough. Southampton will be hoping to build on last weeks victory over Bristol City as they travel to Charlton for a tricky looking encounter. Barnsley also have a tricky looking game away at Preston.

Onto Sunday and there is a derby game between Ipswich and Norwich at Portman Road. Despite Ipswich's impressive home record, the Canaries will be looking to put a huge block on the home sides chase for the play offs.

Two games in hand will also be caught up on next Tuesday and are both derbies. Barnsley take on Hull at Oakwell and current leaders West Brom travel to Black Country rivals, Wolves.

LFW's preview of QPR's trip to Hull City, will be online soon...
