Delaney Joins Rowlands in Ireland squad Tuesday, 13th May 2008 14:59 Damien Delaney has been called up to the Republic of Ireland squad for the Summer friendlies along with Martin Rowlands Following a string of impressive performances for the R's, Delaney joins R's Captain, Martin Rowlands in Giovanni Trapattoni's first Eire squad since his appointment in February. The R's duo will meet up on Thursday for a training camp in Portugal, ahead of the friendlies against Serbia and Columbia later this month. The Serbia game is at Croke Park on 24th May, with the Columbia game following on the 29th at Craven Cottage. LFW would like to congratulate Damien and Martin on their call ups.
