Following an exciting midweek programme, LFW looks ahead to this weekend's fixtures in the Coca Cola Championship.

Following the midweek fixtures, there are now no more teams without a win in the Championship after Plymouth’s 2-1 away success over Watford. Another tough test follows for the Pilgrims as they travel to Crystal Palace on Saturday, who by all accounts, were unlucky to come away from Molinuex with nothing on Tuesday night. Watford however, have an attractive looking home game against Reading, who will be full of confidence after their 6-0 midweek hammering of Sheffield Wednesday.

There are now, just three teams unbeaten teams in the Championship, but there is all possibility that this could change at the weekend as two of the top three face each other. Leaders Wolves travel to 3rd placed Preston in what is undoubtedly, the game of the day. Surprisingly, Sky have given this weekend’s fixtures a blank but this surely would have been one of them had they done so? The other unbeaten side are Birmingham and the second placed outfit have a home game with Blackpool.

There is an equally interesting game down at the wrong end of the table as Southampton take on Barnsley at St Mary’s. The Saints climbed off the foot of the table following their draw with Ipswich and literally swapped places with Barnsley who were beaten at home by Cardiff.

Elsewhere and despite a promising start, Forest have plummeted into the bottom three and have another tricky looking game against improving Charlton at the City Ground. Swansea seem to coping with the rigours of the Championship much better and following a decent midweek draw at Derby, have a home game against Burnley who have found a decent bit of form since their two heavy opening defeats. The team that QPR are charging up to £40 and £50 to watch at Loftus Road next Saturday, have an attractive looking home tie with 6th placed Cardiff.
