Arsenal Linked With Wickham Move Thursday, 15th Jul 2010 12:23 by TWTD.co.uk Arsenal are reported to be ready to fight north London rivals Spurs for Town striker Connor Wickham’s signature. Tottenham are understood to have made bids of £5 million and £8 million for the England U17 international this summer. News of Arsenal’s interest in Wickham, who signed a two-year deal with the Blues earlier in the year, comes as little surprise with the Gunners having been amongst a host of Premier League clubs keeping an eye on the 17-year-old’s progress since his time as an academy schoolboy. Town have repeatedly said that they want to hold on to their prize asset, while the player himself has said he is happy at Portman Road.
