Competition Rules and Information

Predict the outcome of all the matches in the 2014 World Cup, plus who you think will win the overall competition and get points awarded according to your accuracy.

Scoring:

• If you predict the result of a match in normal time accurately (eg 3-1) you get three points plus a bonus of the number of goals in that game (eg 3+1 = bonus of 4).
• If you get the exact score incorrect but correctly predict the outcome in normal time (ie win, draw, lose) you get one point.

Bonus Scoring:

• At the start of the competition you select who you think will come first, second and third in the tournament.
• If one of your selected teams wins the competition you get 20 points. If your first team wins then you get double points (40)
• If one of your selected teams comes second, you get ten points. If your nominated second team comes second you get double points (20)
• If one of your selected teams comes third, you get five points. If your nominated third team comes third you get double points (ten)

The prize league is only available to those that have an active William Hill account (money deposited into the account and at least one bet made). New accounts can be opened and will be eligible providing they are opened before midnight 17th June 2014. The winner of the competition will win £125, second place £50 and third place £25. The prize will be paid into the William Hill betting account as logged. The prizes will take the form of multiple £25 free bets.

You don't need to register a new account to join the Prediction League if you already use our forums or other interactive features. One profile gives you access to everything. Only one prize league entry is allowed per William Hill account. If a winner is found to have multiple site profiles then all entries of those profiles will be void.

Publishers and employees of FansNetwork and TWTD are not eligible to enter the prize league. In the event of a tie the organiser's decision is final. The organiser may be contacted by emailing support@fansnetwork.co.uk.
