| Forum Thread | Shankland Or Adams at 13:16 14 Jun 2024
That is the question amongst Scotland fans & pundits, should it be Lawrence Shankland up front or Che Adams ? They seem to prefer Shankland which perhaps tells us something about whether we should look to keep Adams or move on and look elsewhere. Shankland is a soon to be 29 year old striker who up to 2022/23 season had not made much of a mark in Scotland and see sawed between the Scottish Championship & Premiership. He has played 11 times for Scotland & scored 3 goals compared to Che's 30 caps and 6 goals, given that in his last 17 games for Scotland he has scored just twice you can see why they are going for Shankland |

Apparently in line for England job if Southgate goes, not sure that his track record merits that |

I havent got a clue about what each party is going to do if elected, but I know a lot about how bad each one of them is, they are all more concerned with slagging each other off than actually getting the country on track |

Noel Gallagher on PL matches abroad: “I couldn’t care less if a ManCity ‘customer’ in New Jersey wants to see a game. Get off your f***ing arse and come to Manchester, then. Why are we talking about schlepping out to Abu Dhabi for a League Cup final, FA Cup finals in Bangkok?" “It [football] will change drastically in the next decade and, 20 years from now, it will be unrecognisable. Once there are 14 American owners in the PL, it’s over. They will vote for no relegation. There will be rule changes and all sorts of mad s***..." "Honestly, the Americanisation of football is not good for the game. It will be a slow erosion. And we are going to be powerless to stop them..." |

| Forum Thread | Armando Broja at 23:41 10 Jun 2024
Seems he is linked with a reunion with Ralph Hasenhuttl at Wolfsburg, but on high wages at Chelsea and still with 4 years left on his contract its likely to be only a loan. Interesting to note that as he approaches 23 he still only has 66 Premier League games and 16 goals to his name, 32 of those games were for Saints |

| Forum Thread | Goalkeeper at 21:23 28 May 2024
Who is on the radar for next season, I don't think Alex McCarthy will be the answer, he is a back up keeper at Premier League level and past his best. So who could we got for, perhaps Aaron Ramsdale as he seemed to enjoy Sunday |
| Forum Thread | 5 Things About Wembley at 21:19 27 May 2024
1. I thought Saints supporters were quiet when compared to the West Brom game, too many watching in silence for long periods 2. It was quite well organised in terms of marshalling the crowds etc, and queueing at the train station, but in and around the ground it was a bit hit and miss and the queues for the toilets both male and female was very long they were too small and not enough of them. 3. The ticket system was terrible, in the end as I couldnt seem to find an empty seat when booking I went them to allocate me a similar seat which turned out to be in the front row right behind the goal, meaning that there are now loads of pics of me doing the roungs celebrating our goal, I moved second half. 4. The trains from Southampton seemed to be poorly organised, although extra trais some were packed solid and others only about 75% full 5. Pre match plan went very well, tube to Kilburn and then the pub, fairly cheap drinks and not to much queueing, left at 1.45 for the tube and at Wembley central forjust after 2pm , 20 mins walk to ground and no queueing to get in |
