Scotland Targets 20 Goal Barrier

Jason Scotland set himself a target of 20 goals again this season after the game at Plymouth

Scotland opened his account for the new season in the 44th minute when he latched onto Darren Pratley's through ball and his left foot shot sneaked in at the near post.

It was Scotland's first goal since March and his 30th for the club following his 29 last season and he immediately was talking targets for the season and aimed to hit 20 goals again - somewhat of a landmark for many strikers.

Scotland's face said it all after he grabbed his goal and it now seems that the Swans are about to get the best out of the player who admits that he was never fully fit last season after picking up a knock around Christmas time as well as one pre-season last year.

Speaking after the victory at Plymouth, Scotland said "We had to grind it out but it was a great result and a great three points.

"It is a difficult decision but I will be looking to carry on with my goal-scoring form.

"I can't say how many I'm going to get, but hopefully it will be around 20."
