Man Utd Youngster Happy With His Performance

Febian Brandy says that he was happy with the way he performed in the Swans Carling Cup exit against Watford

Brandy was handed a rare start in his second loan spell from Old Trafford but failed to find the back of the net as the Swans missed the chance to progress to the quarter finals of the competition for the first time in their history.

A single goal from Lee Williamson was enough to send the Swans to defeat but Brandy was concentraing more on his personal performance when he spoke to the Evening Post.

"Obviously I'd have been happier if I'd got a goal and the team had got a win, but I thought I did well on Tuesday to be honest

"It has been a frustrating spell for me. I came here to play first-team football but, with the quality of players we've got, it's hard to break in.

"Hopefully I will get another chance soon, though.

"I'm not going to say I definitely will because I don't know what's going through the gaffer's head and I'm not going to tell him how to do his job.

"But obviously I'm hoping for another chance to show what I can do.

"I'm a small, nippy player so I don't really mind playing on the wings

"I have played out wide for England Under-19s and that went well, so maybe people have seen that.

"I will play anywhere, but I'd prefer to play in the middle because that's my position."
