Joe Allen is using an old cliche when he says that the Swans have three cup finals lying ahead of them
The Swansea City midfielder was speaking as the Swans prepared for the first of those "cup finals" against Nottingham Forest on Thursday night at the City Ground.
“To finish third is a terrific season but we know we have it all to come,” said Wales international Allen when talking to the Western Mail . “It’s an old cliche, but we have three cup finals ahead of us.
“We know Forest are in a good vein of form and these will be big pressure games. But that is why you play football and with all the excitement involved they can be moments you look forward to."
