QPR club captain Clint Hill was the special guest on this week’s podcast, giving an emotional interview about his five years with the club, Wembley experiences and plans for the future.
Hill finally scored the first Premier League goal of his career — having been denied one at Bolton three years ago through incompetent refereeing — at Aston Villa on Tuesday and emotions were still running high when he spoke to the podcast on Wednesday.
As well as discussing what has changed at Rangers since the departure of Harry Redknapp and arrival of Chris Ramsey, Hill reflects on a career in the game that started with a Wembley red card during his Tranmere days that almost drove him to early retirement, and finished with a wonderful spell at QPR and Wembley win back in May.
