Two second half goals from Joe Bunney and Michael Rose was enough to see Dale overturn a two goal deficit to rescue a point at bogey ground Roots Hall.
It was all looking doom and gloom for Dale at half time after two goals in the space of a minute just before the break looked to have wrapped the game up for the Shrimpers.
But a triple substitution at half time helped a Dale comeback that few would have predicted. First Joe Bunney grabbed one for Dale, followed by a free kick from Michael Rose to put us level again.
