The Future Of The Club Speaks Out

One of our younger supporters has written a great piece about how he thinks the club should go forward, it's nice to see such a well thought out article and bodes well that the club will be well supported going forward.

Oscar may only be 9 1/2 but he is a passionate Saints fan and he seems to have a handle on what is happening at Saints at the moment that would be impressive from a supporter three times his age

Dear Southampton Football Club,

I am here to inform you about a crisis that must be dealt with. Our current manager `Pellegrino` is driving our otherwise successful football club into a place of jeopardy due to the horrendous squad selections. He constantly changes the team around meaning none of the team are able to play to their strengths as they can’t get used to their new teammates.

Wembley

Another reason to give him the sack is when we went to play Tottenham Hotspur we had gone through a two hour journey to get there and what do we do? We lose 5-2 once again due to wrong tactics, the wrong players starting and the wrong formation. I personally would play a defensive line up due to the naturally gifted players like Ali, Erikson, Kane and Son all capable of finding the back of the net. So why not play a defensive line up?

What squad to choose?

I would choose this as our usual team...

Gabbiadini

Boufal Ward Prowse Tadic

Romeu Lemina

Bertrand Hoedt Yoshida Cedric

Forster

Who to bring in ?

Lamela Spurs Winger

Coman Bayern Munich Winger

Can Liverpool Central Midfielder

Heaton Burnley Goal Keeper

Batra BVB Centre Back

Why to bring them in…

Lamela

He is greatly gifted and very comfortable on the ball and best of all he is confident just what our squad is lacking. I would offer around 18M

Coman

He has the same style of play but is far better. I would offer around 27M

Can

He would be a very good it with James Ward Prowse. I would offer around 20M

Heaton

To replace Forster as he lets in far too many sloppy goals .I would offer 12M

Batra

To replace Van Dijk as he has gone to Liverpool. I do not know how much to offer

I hope that all Saints supporters consider my views as I am dedicating this article for the future of our football club and hope that this article may change your perspective of our manager.
