Saints Issue Kit Update Statement

When is a statement not a statement ? when its from Southampton FC who have issued the most unhelpful statement in history regarding the new kit.

Saints have just issued a club statement regarding the non appearance of the replica kit in the stores over the past month or so, some Saints fans have been treating this as a disaster tat should be debated in Parliament, although they do have a point about the lack of information given about the situation.

So the emergence of a statement on the club website about the situation initially appeared to be very welcome, however apart from an apology the statement itself tells the supporters absolutely zero other than the club will make another statement sometime next week.

Whether that statement will be built up with a countdown to its issue and perhaps have a funny video alongside it is unknown at present, however in the interests of keeping you up to date we have published the statement below.

"Southampton Football Club would like to apologise to our supporters for the delay in the release of the 2019/20 kit.

We understand your frustration and we’re doing everything in our power to make the kits available to purchase as quickly as possible.

We will give a full update to fans during the week commencing Monday 5th August."

So there you have it, clearly there is going to be a big development in the next few days, so many will not be able to sleep with excitement and anticipation.
