2021/2022 League Two Betting Odds

The bookmakers are clearly anticipating a mid-table finish for Dale this season as they're priced out at 9/2 to win promotion from League Two in 2022.

As is always the case in the final days before the Football League campaign gets underway, punters are pricing up the odds of their season-long bets and League Two is no different with Salford City the current favourites for the fourth-tier title.

With former Dale stars Ian Henderson and Matt Lund in their ranks, the Ammies are priced at just 6/4 to win promotion this season with Sky Bet and 6/1 to win lift the trophy as champions.

Not far behind them in the running are Bristol Rovers, who came down from League One with Dale, Bradford City, Exeter City and Mansfield Town.

At the opposite end of the spectrum, Sutton United are a massive 66/1 outsider for the title, with relegation the more likely outcome for them at 7/2. Others expected to be struggling to remain out of the bottom two include Swindon Town, Barrow and Scunthorpe United.

If you're fancying a bet on Robbie Stockdale's charges, those odds of 9/2 for Dale to win promotion turn to a rather long 20/1 if you're hoping for Dale to finish in the top spot. Odds on a Top 7 finish are 9/4 whilst we are slightly below evens at 5/6 for a top half finish.

Alternatively, if you expect us to struggle this season, relegation is available at 10/1. There are some other interesting markets available, perhaps one that will appeal to some fans is the 5/1 price on Dale to be the highest-placed North-West team above Salford, Carlisle, Oldham, Tranmere and Barrow.

In the top goalscorer market, the only Dale players available are Jake Beesley at 66/1 and Alex Newby at 100/1. Three former Dale men are available at a shorter price than 'Bees', with Zach Clough at 28/1, Jack Muldoon at 25/1 and unsurprisingly Ian Henderson, the bookmaker's favourite, at 8/1.
