Dale made their 9th summer signing with the addition of Reading centre back Jeriel Dorsett on loan.
Dale manager Robbie Stockdale confirmed in his pre-match interview ahead of this weekends trip to Northampton that we were expecting a signing before the game and over the weekend. Well, not long after the interview aired, it was announced that he'd managed to make his 9th signing of the summer in the form of Reading centre back Jeriel Dorsett.
The 19-year-old joins on loan until the end of the season and will wear the number 12 shirt during his stay.
Not much is known about the lad to be fair but he made 17 appearances for Reading U23's last season and made his first team debut against Blackpool in the FA Cup in January 2020 but had to wait another year before his next opportunity, again in the FA Cup against a Luton Town side featuring one Gabriel Osho.
Hopefully a couple more signings to come maybe going off Stockdale's comments so fingers crossed.
