Striker Luke Charman has left Rochdale to sign for AFC Fylde for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old only joined Rochdale in January from National League North side Darlington but hasn't made the impact that many had anticipated. He only scored 2 goals in 20 appearances for the Dale and they both came in one game, at home to Bristol Rovers towards the end of last season and he's only featured once this season, that being on the opening day against Crewe.
Fylde have reported that they have paid a club record fee for Charman in their press-release which hopefully means we won't have made a significant loss on the transfer and it may be able to go towards the January transfer window should manager Jim Bentley need to make changes.
