It's been 84 years.....as the Titanic meme goes but Dale have finally brought in an outfield player as we edge closer to the January transfer deadline.
Rochdale have brought in Wycombe Wanderers striker D'Mani Mellor on loan for the reason of the season. The Former Manchester United starlet joined Wycombe in the summer following his release from Old Trafford. He had a brief loan spell at Salford City in which he made 3 appearances.
The 22-year-old never played for United in the Premier League but did grab an appearance in the Europa League against Astana back in 2019. Max Taylor was in the United squad that night as well. He also made 4 appearances in the EFL Trophy for the Under 21 side.
This season at Wycombe, he's made 1 start in League One with 8 further sub appearances without scoring but he did score when he started the EFL Cup game at Northampton Town.
