Following media speculation, Dale midfielder Ethan Brierley has signed for Premier League Brentford.
The Athletic reported that the 19-year-old talented centre midfielder could well be off to the Gtech Community Stadium and joining the Brentford B-Team initially for an undisclosed six figure sum and the club have now confirmed this.

Brierley and Dale thought he'd signed for Blackburn Rovers back in January but due to an admin error, the deal didn't go through but it was believed that it would then be completed this summer instead but Rovers announced that the deal was off.
