Refwatch: Rochdale v Aldershot Town

Wakefield referee AARON BANNISTER is the man in the middle for Dale’s game against Aldershot Town on Saturday.

In his second season as a National League official, Mr Bannister also referees in Premier League 2, which features the development sides of top flight clubs.

Aaron’s first appointment at this level was Gateshead v Notts County early last term and he went on to referee 15 matches over the course of the season.

This campaign started for Mr Bannister at Ebbsfleet v Solihull in August and Saturday will be his seventh National League fixture, with him having shown 21 yellow cards in the previous six.
