The most played home fixture in Dale’s history will be refereed on Easter Monday by RICHARD ELEY.
The Derby official has received a mid-season promotion to the National League and has so far taken charge of three games at this level.
His first match was in front of a crowd of 11,881 at Oldham against Kidderminster at the end of February, while Richard’s other appointments are York v AFC Fylde and Southend v Woking last weekend.
Prior to his promotion, he was doing National League North/South matches, some Premier League 2 development games and several EFL fourth official assignments. He also got to referee the second half of the Stockport v Crewe in League Two when the original referee got injured.
When he is not refereeing, Mr Eley is a qualified evidence-based Nutrition Practitioner. He is also a fitness coach and certified personal trainer.
