Big Changes For Southampton Fixtures Over The Christmas Period

Saints fans will have to be amending their diaries in December & January after 4 of their games have been selected for TV coverage, leading to 5 out of the 6 games changing date & time, find out all the details here.

The first change will come for the midweek clash with Chelsea, that will see the game still played on Wednesday 4th December, but the game will now kick off at 7.30pm, slightly earlier than the usual time of either 7.45pm or 8pm. This will be broadcast on Amazon Prime video.

Next up at St Mary;s are Tottenham Hotspur that was due to be played on Saturday 15th December, but will now be pushed back to the next day Sunday 16th and with a late kick off of 7pm, something that I am sure will not please Spurs supporters, TNT sports will show the match live on TV.

The following week we were due to go up to Fulham on Saturday 22nd, that will now be on Sunday 16th with a 2pm kick off.

Next up is a 4th consecutive game against a London club, West Ham United will arrive on Boxing Day and that one will kick off at 3pm.

Next up is the trip to Crystal Palace which is unchanged on Sunday 29th December. likewise the home game with Brentford on Saturday 4th.

The fifth and final game of the sequence is the trip to Manchester United, that was scheduled as a midweek fixture on Wednesday 15th January, but will now be an 8pm kick off on Thursday 16th with an 8pm kick off for TNT Sports.

This will mean that the trip to Nottingham Forest due on Saturday 18th, will now be pushed back a day to Sunday 19th with a 2pm kick off, this is not being televised.

So much chopping and changing in December & January, although to be fair in essence, it isn't impacting on us as much as some of the clubs we are playing.
