Dale’s first game of 2025 against Altrincham on New Year’s Day will be refereed by AARON JACKSON.
The Liverpool-based official is in his sixth season as a National League official, although he had only refereed two games up to the start of the Christmas period – Halifax v Southend and Gateshead v Woking – presumably due to injury.
We saw Mr Jackson twice last season, firstly at the 2-2 home draw versus Bromley which featured a red card for each team, Dale’s going to Adam Clayton.
At the end of November 2023 he was in the middle at Dagenham where a sublime individual Cian Hayes’ goal set Dale on their way to a 2-1 win.
