Dale’s short trip to FC Halifax Town on Wednesday evening will be refereed by JAMES BANCROFT.
This will be Mr Bancroft’s second Dale appointment of the campaign after he took charge of our 2-1 home defeat to Solihull Moors in September.
Based in County Durham, James is in his first season refereeing in the National League and Wednesday will be his 11th appointment of the campaign.
He started with Boston United v Tamworth in August, but hasn’t refereed in the National League since Halifax v Sutton in mid-December.
However, James has regularly refereed in Premier League 2, as well as acting as fourth official at a number of EFL fixtures in League One and League Two.
Last season saw Mr Bancroft officiate mainly in National League North, with his final game of the campaign being Boston’s 2-1 win at Brackley in the play-off final.
