Dale’s visit to Aldershot Town on Saturday will be refereed by a new face in LEWIS SANDOE.
The Christchurch based official joined the National List for this season and has so far refereed six times in the National League, as well as making his EFL debut at Newport County v Cambridge United last Saturday. He has shown 22 yellow cards in those matches.
Two of Lewis’s previous appointments in the sixth tier have involved Aldershot - their 3-0 defeat at Southend back in October, followed by their 4-1 home win over Wealdstone at the end of December.
Mr Sandoe will feel right at home in Aldershot, as he has a strong engineering and military background and attained an Engineering degree at Sandhurst. He then spent six years in the Army, rising from Platoon Commander to Captain. He now works for BAE Systems Maritime - Submarines in a People Development role!
