U's boss Paul Lambert has said that it is unlikely that he will bring in any new players before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.
Speaking to the East Anglian Daily Times, Lambo revealed: “The chances of other players coming in are remote.
“Kevin Lisbie was the last big one. He's the last of the big hitters, and his return to the club has been well received.”
Overall, nine new players have joined the club over the summer, these are: Ashley Vincent (originally on loan), Lee Beevers, Magnus Okuonghae, David Fox, Ben Williams, Grant Holt (player-coach), Joel Thomas and Kevin Lisbie (on loan).
Meanwhile, four players permanently left the club: Akanni-Sunday Wasiu (released), Mark Yeates (to Middlesbrough), Dean Gerken (to Bristol City) and Chris Coyne (released).
