My own personal view is that we need to get Gigg Lane back by whatever means possible as playing anywhere else will not be the same. I have been watching Bury F.C. since 1959 and can’t see myself ever going again to watch a phoenix club anywhere else but Gigg Lane.
Despite the momentum of the phoenix club. The vast majority of Bury fans will have similar opinions. Forever Bury know this and are therefore pushing "Securing Gigg Lane" as their number one, number two and number three objective. Kinda similar to the Tory party pushing "Get Brexit done" far above any other political pledge. The phoenix group are focusing on building a new club from scratch - something FB will have to do - but right now folks want something that looks like Bury FC as opposed to something that might eventually become Bury FC. The twitch stream was up and down but from the parts I heard SD3 had an absolute 'mare. He's similar to SD1 but less convincing in every way. He's probably only 2 "Mateys" on the Matey scale. Sadly for bury he's Forever Bury number one option. It cut off but I think he said he wanted to charge £16 a ticket for NWCL football and a fan - who seemed clued up - fact-gasm'd a lot of his stadium plans. Hes clearly just yet another charlatan looking to take advantage of those gullible fools.
I'm actually starting to feel a little sorry for the handful of non-battery-throwing buckets who weren't enjoying the ride (not many, I know). The whole thing is an utter shitstorm.
