On the subject of bury, I’ve had a listen to the first three episodes of that podcast Sanny drummer boy is involved in and it’s quite a decent listen in parts. There’s still the air of football snobbery and arrogance with some of their fans but the odd few come across quite well. |  | | |

The podcast is called Out Of Our League and is on BBC Sounds if any one is interested. I listened to the first episode and it is well done. 10 episodes apparently but I think (hope) they interview other phoenix clubs. [Post edited 18 Sep 2020 9:27]

One of them was implying the other day that the pub team they were playing didn’t realise the importance of the game to the bootleg buckets as they wouldn’t let one of them in to stream the match due to covid restrictions.
