tomorrow can't come quick enough 14:17 - Oct 16 with 2027008 viewsbatman

Not for us, but for Bury.
i was credit checking a potential customer and decided to nosey onto
BFC's file and was (or maybe not) supprised to see a new CCJ for circa £22k lodged
only Wednesday this week.
looks like they are in need of a bumper crowd tomorrow to settle some bills

More comedy gold from the bucket message board...........

"Performances are already better. Youth are getting selected. Interviews make more sense. No officials are getting blamed. Injured players nearly back. Christmas won't be so bad".

Bury players did not train at Carrington today, for reasons unknown.

It is perceived as a good thing as the pampered so-and-so's could learn what life was like at a non-Carrington training environment.

I think this was a Stewie masterstroke to show his squad a carrot, before taking it away and presenting them a turnip instead.

Doing it the week before Xmas is genius. I expect a queue of players prepared to rip up their contract at Stewies door on boxing day as he requested.

They're going to "sure up the defence"?

What's that mean - spray fookin' deodorant on 'em?

"he claims to have built up a bank of favours from other clubs that he is ready to call in."

&

“That will mean calling in favours, and there are a lot of favours I’m owed.”

Do the mongs still lap up this bull as gospel?

It's becoming nauseating watching a regime so brazenly taking the piss out of a fanbase.

Poll: Who do you think bury should appoint as their next manager?

That club and the on-going situation reminds me of watching an Attenborough programme.

At first you marvel at the might of the big cats (owners) and you realise they need to hunt and eat.

You're pleased for them when a herd of antelope (fans) appear on the horizon.

But when the savagery begins you cant help but switch sides halfway through and want the little detached antelope at the rear to wriggle free from the clutches of the nasty leopard, who you once were impressed by.

http://www.gigglane.com/index.php?/topic/28100-bid-for-premier-league-defender-m

This thread is embarrassing. Why not question why fees are being paid such as the one mentioned in the Bury Times article? (at the time of this post nobody seems too bothered)

Also, Kevin Long signed an extension to his contract not very long ago:
http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/14761858.Burnley_trio_sign_new_one_ye

So a player who has signed a contract with a Premier League side until summer 2018 is within their budget, even on loan? They might be, but at least question it, even if it's just a rumour.

Astonishing. 40 pages with around 1600 submissions and getting on to a quarter of a million views. And it's all about the trials and tribulations of a neighbouring football club. Wind it up and let the folks at Bury FC get on with their football. All this mud-slinging and one-up-mans-ship is a bit embarrassing.......... unless, that is, you all have nothing better to do.

It also seems to have occupied you for a while as well. Bury - the club and it's fans that just keep on giving.

This is a Football Forum .......anything relative to Footie is appropriate to discuss surely?

The Rise and Fall of bury is important to us...we might loose 3 points.

There but for the Grace of God go we?

That's because your club and you, as a set of supporters (with the exception of a few), are truly astonishing. Take today for example. News has broke that your club's owners have undertaken another debt for equity swap. This is then marvelled on your forum as an act of alturism on behalf of your chairman, to the point where one of the poster recommends a thread to praise him!!

You couldn't write it. At no point does anyone open this up to questioning. Nobody raises the point that this swap effectively hides the debt in an accounting sense. This will be essential for all sorts of reasons - to secure further borrowing for one. This thread is in amongst some other classics as well. 'Let's approach Keith Hill' and the best of all 'where is our new stadium going to be built - Day's going to open a shop on it you know?' Genius.

Stop giving and we'll stop being interested.

Btw Mr Bistow is a star isn't he? Wow, just wow.

Not sure how up to date this is but

"Information in the public domain shows Day's companies and BFC currently have live loans of some £3m with Moneything and nearly £11m with Saving Stream as well as a number of other charges with other organisations and individuals. So, it's quite possible that some, if not all, of the £2.5m is from those sources. "

Should we lend them one of Hogan's eyebrows or summat?

Where's the financial investigators when you need them ? This charade surely can't carry on much longer........... can it ?

Are all the loans secured by the ground? If they do go tits up, someone is going to be disappointed to find out that the ground isn't worth anything like £14m. Is it even legal to have multiple loans all secured on the same asset?
