According to the latest weather forecast "The real cold snap will begin on Friday when experts say temperatures could plunge to -10C"
Hopefully we will have the covers in the coming nights but if it is anywhere near -10C I doubt we will have any chance of playing. With the distance Milwall and their fans have to travel an early inspection will surely be made if the weather is so cold

no he's just a Sun reader
I don't live in Alaska though I was a few hundred miles above the arctic circle a short time ago. I was in Bergen (Norway) last weekend where it was snowing and a bit 'nippy' - the wings of the plane had to be de-iced before take-off
As for being a 'Sun reader' well I will ignore such a 'ludicrous suggestion'. People have been shot for less!!
I prefer the Daily Telegraph and/or Guardian (for the sports coverage and nothing to do with politics) if truth be known

Get the covers on regardless we need the game on!!!
Cash flow one thing but a chance to put Saturday behind us..
Then onto erm Crewe!! On Tuesday.
The problem with putting the covers on is they need to be taken off during the day and put back on again at night. I cant see them bothering with the forecast not being freezing ? Nice and sunny for the next few days so hopefully it will help 'mend' the pitch a little.
Its a BRILLIANT goal to cap a BRILLIANT start by Rochdale - Don Goodman 26/08/10

Can't see any significant improvement in the pitch until March/April time when grass-growing season begins. But a prolonged dry spell will help get rid of any surface water and as long as it doesn't get too cold we won't have to worry about a frozen pitch

grass grows all year round, and with our seasons changing i was still cutting mine in november and it needs doing now!
I've just dragged two bins in (thanks rmbc for coming every 3 weeks) and it was crunchy underfoot I'm 600 ft + amsl higher than San Spotty though but it's nippy tonight.
