Seems we had a behind-closed-door game against Huddersfield this afternoon. I guess the only way of guessing our line up will be to see who isn't involved fully tonight

I would guess we would have played a strong team v Huddersfield rather than tonight.
Though supporters were made aware that this was the first friendly and planned accordingly. Anyway, it's been cleared up by saying the full squad is "expected to travel". Expected is exactly right.

It might be two games of two halves.........each player has a full game even though half was in Yarkshire some hours ago?
Arrived early at Fylde to have tea in the Birley Arms, 5 25pm. We noticed Holness,Lund and big Jim entering the ground so can confirm its not a youth team.

Highlights here-
Thanks, both very bad goals to concede. Walked through the middle for the first goal and given the freedom of the pitch to set up the second. No full back within twenty yards of the player who put in the cross.

Does the othe Huddersfield player not flick it on? Can't tell properly on phone. If not, good spot.
The rules are really obscure now - he must still be gaining an advantage even being in an offside position when the keeper kicks it upfield ? - surely its still offside if its flicked on (it is really hard to fathom out the offside rule these days) - hard to tell if the ball is flicked on also having watched it numerous times.
Its a BRILLIANT goal to cap a BRILLIANT start by Rochdale - Don Goodman 26/08/10
