Portuguese football on 00:42 - Oct 24 with 2510 views | Daley_Lama | If you are golfing and have the choice, cost and plans withstanding then I recommend the Oceanico courses in the following order 1. The Old Course (expensive) 2. Victoria Course (tough and expensive) 3. The O'Connor Course (inland and expensive) 4. Millenium (not that expensive) 5. Pinhal (not that expensive) 6. The Faldo Course (tough and expensive) 7. Laguna (aweful greens) If you are simply socialising I can recommend 1. Irish Log Cabin - about as Irish as me but do good burgers and decent bands 2. Rui's Carvery - in a square just behind the log cabin bar. been a few years since I was there but I used to be great quantity/quality. 3. Casa Do Pescador, in the smallish restaurant quarter, my favourite restaurant there 4. Worth an edit. There was an Argentine/Portuguese Restaurant near the above Casa Do Pescador, the food was great but the best thing about it was a really snobby waitress who turned out to be from Turf Hill and the ex-neighbour of one of our group. 5. Any of the other restaurants near number 3. Happy hols! The crazy golf at the Family Golf Park is good too. [Post edited 24 Oct 2016 0:47]

Not played Pinhal, or Laguna (since they changed it all around) Out of the ones mentioned think that my favourite is the Old Course, fair course suitable for golfers of all abilities. Victoria fun to play, front 9 is fairly straightforward but make sure you have plenty of balls in your bag for the back 9 - lots of water to negotiate. It's great to watch to Portuguese Masters on the TV and see the professionals playing the same course that you have played. Regarding the Faldo - a lovely setting but just too hard for most - get a buggy - walking is just not an option. Play the O'Connor instead. Other courses worth playing Palamares Val de Lobo (both courses) Penina

I thought he was decent until lee hughes did him in. Didn't he replace the goalie we had who couldn't save any shots put in a corner?

Wasn't it Peter Kurucz who was done in by Lee Hughes?

That was Kurucz in February 2012. Pereira was with us last season.
| When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf? |

Not a golfer but certainly spoilt for choices if I was in fabulous settings. Would always recommend Braganca Mar restaurant in that little area you suggest.
