In fairness to the newspaper article these are complaints previously made on this forum by Dale fans. There are parts of the stadium which are sadly in need of some t.l.c. and although there have been statements made by the club about updates etc thus far there is little to show on this front .If those pictures of the seats were taken yesterday then that is truly an unacceptable standard (even for Yorkshire-folk).
I am told by my wife that the state of the female toilets are way below par. I already know what the Gents are like and its not exactly pleasant.
This is something the club needs to address sooner rather than later if we want to attract new fans. Come on RAFC it's digit extracting time. |  | | |

Surely this should come under the jurisdiction of the ground staff?
I'm no expert but I'd hazard a guess that they don't constantly work 8 hours a day Mon-Fri on the pitch itself. |  |

Simply hire a hot water pressure washer, spray the seats with a cleaning agent and blast away. Take less than a day to do that whole stand. I know cos I've done it before a Bradford game once. | |

Disgusting and whoever has the responsibility of checking the suitability and cleanliness of the facilities needs a stern word. I too would be mightily pissed off if I'd paid money to sit there. . Also the standard of the catering in the pearl street stand has hit rock bottom cold pies and I witnessed a horrible disregard of basic hygiene yesterday while waiting to buy a brew. |  | | |

Fully expect this issue to be acknowledged and addressed across the ENTIRE stadium before the next home game. With the amount of ground staff we see on a pitch at half time, this should be easily achievable (apologies if they're paying fans who help out on a voluntary basis) |  |

Seats all around where I sit in the TDS are always clean.
Seats I've sat in this season in the Main Stand were clean
Either:
Home seats are attended to and (some?) away seats are not attended to
Or

Used to be a problem when I sat in the Pearl St. Never had it in the Main Stand, either way it's disgusting and needs sorting, as do the urinals in the Main Stand, they've been blocked for the last few home games and by the end of the day are virtually overflowing with stale p*ss. | | | |

The excuse for this mess before was that we didn't own the stadium so wasn't really our job, but now we've owned the stadium for a while and the place is still a mess. The problem now seems to be more CBA. If we're going to charge £20+ for seats then we have to provide more than the current dump facilities. |  | | |

Suggestion
1. Advice from somebody on here for rough cost of equipment and extras (power, water feed etc)
2. Assuming we are not talking thousands (my Karcher would do the job which cost something like £80) , quick appeal from the trust for funding to buy one of these
3. Seats are checked/sprayed before day before match (23 times a year).
4. Goodwill to fans from fans, as I don't know what I would do if I turned up at an away game and my seat was like those pictured. [Post edited 30 Jan 2017 0:34]
