RIP the 'Wichita lineman' on 22:01 - Aug 8 by D_Alien
A genuine and modest star, no hype, just a great singer
My favourite, Galveston
Decent actor too, starred in true Grit alongside John Wayne

Yep,those iconic songs of the mid to late sixties were certainly a feature of the times. Go in any of the many pubs that were dotted around town in those days and a Glen Campbell song would be sure to blasting out from the jukebox as you went through the door. He was lucky that he fell in with the great song writer Jim Webb, who wrote Wichita Lineman,By The Time I get To Phoenix and Galveston from memory, but Glen made those songs his own anyway. Glen Campbell had such a tremendous voice, that all of us who were around then, will certainly remember with such nostalgia from those great days. RIP Glen, you were truly a legend.
