Kit research 23:16 - Aug 10 with 1166 views

Hi,

I hope you can help me. I'm working on a graphic design project where I'm illustrating all the Football League team home kits for the 1967-68 season. I've been looking everywhere online for the Rochdale home kit but can't find any photographic evidence of it being worn.

HistoricalKits.co.uk shows that the Rochdale home kit was white and black in 1966-67 and blue and white in 1968-69, but what about the season in-between?!! If anyone can point me in the direction of a website or even an individual photo showing the Rochdale kit being worn in a 1967-68 match, I'd be very grateful indeed.

Hi Chris, it was the same kit as in 1966/67.

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

I'm (almost) certain the 1966-67 black & white kit continued into the 1967-68 season, probably why there's little reference to it

The blue & white kit was then seen as a lucky omen when we gained promotion for the first time ever
