Heard the loud bangs earlier this evening around 8-30 ish.

Would expect the motorway will most likely still be closed westbound in the morning given latest reports.
Could be a long journey to work tomorrow morning for some.

Yeah I heard the bangs as far away as Syke. I thought it was early fireworks at first but it sounded a bit different to the normal. I wouldn't like to be too near to the explosions.
