Does anyone know if he is injured? If not it was a bizarre substitution yesterday.

Thought he was one of our best players yesterday (sponsors giving him MOM was unbelieveable Jeff).

McGahey must be head and shoulders above everyone else for the player of the season award.

McGahey has been great this season. I think the substitution was purely down to wanting to add more attacking prowess to the right hand side. McGahey was the obvious defender to come off. Bringing Daniels off for Thompson would have been messing around with the defence a little too much I think. I can't remember McGahey and Nthle being paired together ever.

Yes. I believe he is only contracted to 30th June and yet to sign an extension.

Thankfully he's under 24 so at least we'll get some sort of fee when he inevitably leaves.

If that is correct it makes no sense within our "model". McGahey is the type of player we recruit, develop and sell on; there was enough last season to show that he'd progress and become an asset. With that in mind why wasn't his deal extended last summer?

Of course we could all be wrong and he's here for another season.
