Let's have a break from talking about pitches. A story on the OS today says Hill would like two more players one on loan and one permanent. What positions do we think we're after?
There's been quite a few changes already and I'm struggling to see the big picture squad wise. Where are we short and where do we need to strengthen.
First thought for me is another central midfielder. Someone comfortable on the ball and helps us retain possession. And then maybe a Striker? |  |

Well according to most on here, we need a 'fox in the box' type striker who's a '20 goal a season man', strangely unwanted by his current club, within 'Dales price range (i.e. free), falls into our wage bracket (i.e. paltry) and willing to come to a club who are in danger of being cut adrift at the foot of League One....

Not sure Alfie is the player he once was. Looked to have bulked up last season, and a lack of first team football won't have helped matters at all. Loved him when he was here but not convinced he's the answer. |  | | |

For Alfie, I think he needs the players around him for him to do well. He's never been one for running around all game creating chances for himself. He's more of a poacher type that's in the right place in the box.
