A cracking listen.
It's not just us fans that are buzzing that Dale were able to show the world what we're about and what the team is capable of, all the watching commentators and pundits seemed to be buzzing at having seen an absolutely cracking cup tie.

Three things from that commentary:
1) The pundits saying "we're battling to be heard here above a brutal PA system"
2) Their mike picks up a much better reflection of the noise from the Dale fans around the ground - were the commentators in the main stand? - as opposed to BBC TV picking up largely the Spurs support
3) Once again, these seasoned commentators/professionals see it as penalty, with the obvious point about no Dale players making any fuss about it. The neutrals - both on TV and on radio - can put their prejudice against Alli's diving proclivities to one side and just see the reality of what happens in that particular incident yesterday |  |

Of all the pundits and commentators on watching back the match recording I have to single out Danny Murphy who was overflowing with his praise for the way we played , the club, and the fans. Also a mention for Shearer who also was mightily impressed with us and said so many times....Made me damn proud to hear such comments... |  |

Brutal it is. Had some really decent "daytrippers" next to me who couldn't believe a) how loud it is and b) how distorted. They were laughing every time a new song came on. It's so bad it's funny. |  |
