Renewed my ST yesterday after a phone call from the club to remind me , The lady in the ticket office said that they passed 2000 well over a week ago and that it,s been non stop since then. They are ringing everyone who had a ST last year who have not yet renewed |
Hallelujah.
Thats great news about contacting those people that haven't renewed - its been mentioned on here so many times in the past - at least we can see that the club have learnt a few lessons and take on board feedback.
Sometimes we all need a little nudge - well done for renewing. Hopefully a lot more will as the end of the early bird discount and the end of the month pay day for a lot of people looms. |  |

What encourages me in the number of people aged under 21 who you see at Spotland these days. The age demographic is a lot healthier that at a lot of clubs. |
And the club is actively targeting schools with a view to further reducing the average age. Fair play to Russ and Francis. |  |

Think that’s been a real selling point. If we’d pulled away with 2/3 games to spare then lost a couple we’d possibly be looking at a few hundred less.
The price structure is vital too, but honestly believe the way it all played out captured the imagination of those who don’t come every week and reinvigorated so many regulars. |  |

Not sure how the numbers will work out for each stand, but I suspect the average ST price will be slightly higher this year since PSS is same price, SLS £50 lower and MS £50 higher. Assuming MS = more STs than SLS, it's marginally less attractive for more of the fan base this year than last year, supporting your theory that the 11th hour survival had a positive effect.

Just been to pick my ticket up and while I was waiting Chris Dunphy popped in and asked if "we'd passed that figure", to which the reply was an emphatic "oh yes". Also my Sandy Adult ticket is a youth with a sticker over each and then stamped adult on it suggesting they've run out. [Post edited 30 Jun 2018 13:46]
