Although they were relegated, they kept things honest on Saturday. Had they not done so, nothing Dale did against Charlton would have mattered.

And special shout out to Johnny Placide. For every ying (saving Raff's penalty) there is a yang (trying to chuck the ball into his own net for Northampton's 2nd goal before ht). 👍🏻

Its a BRILLIANT goal to cap a BRILLIANT start by Rochdale - Don Goodman 26/08/10
Poll: Are fans more annoyed losing or not playing Henderson centre forward?

As the headline in one of the papers said - Fake Placide

Undoubted knowledge? Or just the application of common sense and using my brain?

Bizarre contribution to their first too, rushed out at the ball but made it fly loose rather than claiming, leading to the penalty. Almost let a shot through him in 2nd half too.

Speaking of ying and yang:

17/3/18 Oldham fan runs onto pitch, causing long delay which probably contributes to Raff penalty miss

5/5/18 Oldham fans set off flares after scoring first goal, causing delay leading to 5 mins of stoppage time in first half, during which Cobblers score

A nice poetic vignette of fan stupidity.

Agreed.

On a side note I wouldn't be overly surprised if Bunney was to make a return here over the summer.

I think they tried harder because Oldham took over their town again.

At least Latics have new towns to take over next year: from Failsworth to Nailsworth.

Poll: Should Bury shop elsewhere for frames?

Surely not......his race is run here and there are better options around.....he's not been in the match squad at Cobblers for a while.......and will he not be under contract,I hope.

Always liked the Cobblers. As an aside, theirs is probably my favourite colour combination of kit in the FL.

He signed a two-and-half-year deal.

I liked them until stories emerged about dodgy dealings and borrowed money.
They got out of that then spent an awful lot of money on players like Revell.
And our friend John-Joe O'Toole.
