I live in Shaw and had to wipe ash from my window frame when I got back from work today. Awful scenes.
Everywhere from Shaw all the way up to Manchester City centre just stunk of smoke and the smoke filled what should have been a glorious blue sky. |  |

ok probably many on here didn't but it was what we did back in the day 1950's when swailing was a sport we didn't have iphones or game consoles or matches. | |

Some prick has been arrested for the Winter Hill one and a couple of oiks were spotted trying to set fire to the railway embankment near Belfield.

I see the helecopter spotted arsonists starting new fires. Also the idiots sightseeing and getting in the way leading to one of them being overcome by smoke and needing to be rescued
