I'd say Jennings is nailed on to lose his test place, he's just not quite up to it (especially with rubbish catching) although he was in brilliant form for Lancs early season so let's hope his confidence isn't dented

I see Hameed is back opening after a spell out then returning at no.3 but he's had a 'nothing' season - time for him to produce as well

8-0 overnight, chasing 314 to win, and what looks like two good batting days available though likely to be decided one way or t' other today

Much will hinge on getting a decent start, and after the faith shown in Hameed during his long run without a score, it'd be great to see something like his pre-injury form. (That's probably done for him)

Not enough runs with or without Livingstone. Mennie has not contributed as much as McLaren did, whose all-round contribution has been sorely missed. The likes of Brown and Croft need to move on and Chanderpaul pensioned off. An overseas batter or all rounder needed for next season, but not easy to get someone for the full season with IPL and other international commitments.
