The "Daily Mail" ran over two pages on Saturday about Gordon Taylor, the PFA and his £2.5 million annual payment package. Taylor's defence is that he doesn't set his salary; this is apparently recommended by an independent committee chaired by "former player Gareth Griffiths who now runs his own wealth management company". And then I was in the pub yesterday and who was beaming from the telly in his role as a SKY pundit but Patrick McCourt as he was introduced.
