Jimbo.......you may not be aware that we had a Chairman called Tommy Cannon (he of Cannon and Ball fame) for a while till 1988.......the Club very nearly went to the wall in that era and was only saved by a schoolboy!

He discovered that Cannons shares were in his wife's name and therefore Cannon could not vote at the meeting that would have meant him having a charge over the stadium or summat like that. I think R17ALE put the full story on here a few years ago. Lately the schoolboy has attracted some negative media attraction. | |
