Not absolutely my cup of tea really but he wrote some fantastic songs.
Had a copy of the original Spiral Scratch EP which I bought in Black Sedan after hearing John Peel play a couple of tracks and sold it to a punkette from Syke for £2. The stuff music makes you remember eh?
Happy daze.

Took my daughter just 2 years ago in Manchester ( more for my benefit than hers as she was 13). They were as good as when I saw them in the early days. No age to go RIP

This was probably my favourite track.........If I remember rightly was the first release after "Boredom" when DeVoto left to create Magazine...saw the Buzzcocks life in a nightclub in Manchester. It was on Oxford Street not too far from the Odeon and you walked down some steps. A very small venue memory has faded as try as I might I can not remember the name of the club.
