As me and my dad are the only two Dale supporters living in Southend this match is always the big one in terms of if I get loads of stick for the next week, or can hold my head up.
When these two are in the same division I pay no attention to Southend so cannot give any insight on them.
Wish list:
The concession of hideous goals is behind us
Henderson is given a free role
Henderson or nobody else gets sent off in this match (twice in this match recently we have been down to 10)
Andrew plays a stormer like he did as a sub in the 2 all draw a few years back
Lillis, Rafferty, McGahey, Delaney, Hart / Done as the back five
We serve it up to them and play to win
The honour of the bragging rights, it’s been far to long since Dale won this one
To all who are making the long journey down, credit to you and I hope it is a safe one. The weather is set to be mild.

I think you might be in for some stick Jonah lad.......but like you I hope we do give it a go.
Calvin (on twitter) said the players let themselves down last week and have only themselves to blame (not really Big Fella) and wanted to draw a line under the shambles and put the performance to bed.......all good to hear but let's hope we have a right go at least.
Trouble is, we are always well capable of a clown show in our ranks.

I can’t wait for this game. Never seen a victory at Southend after many years of going and this match will be the first one my 2 children have ever watched live. My daughter said to me this morning, that she didn’t really want to go but she will do as it will be an experience! I didn’t let on how much of an experience it will be.
I’m hoping for Hendo to play upfront and, likewise, to finish the game with all 11 players. If only we could have a NML type player nowadays, those 45 minutes he played against Southend a few years back was immense. | | | |
