Ultimately, I don't think even the staunchest detractors can take any pleasure from sacking Hill. The man will be remembered as a club legend, regardless of what has transpired these past two years.
However, that doesn't give the club licence to rest on its laurels - I commend the board for making such a tough decision not just with a view to saving this season, but (hopefully) with a view to the longer term too, in terms of heading off any further malaise. | |

Get thumped 5-1 at Plymouth and not a peep. Go down 2-0 to the league leaders and play OK by all accounts (apparently) and then he gets the boot. Something drastic much have happened/changed in that period of time | | | |

Well actually im in two minds about it tbh.....
I glad that beech as gone aswell as i didnt think he would have been the option to replace hill..
As for BBM & Ellis not to sure if thats the way aswell, leave those two to do what they are good at in the setup..
There are enough games left for a new approach from a manager outside the club..
