Surprised Craig didn't take a penalty.

Lucky not to give a penalty away very late in extra time, but anyway,it mattered not,Villa through 4-3.

Dawson's got one more year on his contract. Is there a possibility that WBA chairman now thinks this is the best opportunity for them to make some money on him and listen to offers? When they refused to sell him last year, the reasoning was that they were going straight back up. I could see him fitting in really well with the Rochdale Old Boys at Sheffield U or some other mid to lower Prem side.

With hindsight West Brom shot themselves in the foot by having defenders taking the first two penalties which were both saved.
I was always brought up to believe that your best forwards took the early penalties.

Anyone can score a penalty (Eric Dier England v Columbia)
Anyone can miss a penalty (Aguero v Tottenham)
Its just one of those things. Some of the best penalty takers ever have been 'non forwards'.

Its a BRILLIANT goal to cap a BRILLIANT start by Rochdale - Don Goodman 26/08/10

Yeah, Stan Milburn was a good penalty taker. Any pro player could probably score 9/10 penalties in training. It's when the chips are down the players with the most mental toughness come to the fore and put away the pressure penalties. Where you play in the team isn't as important as how mentally focussed you are.
