I honestly don't know. I was merely told we were going after a GK, midfielder and a striker.
I also know we've been turned down by a few players, though, so not sure where this fellow would've been on the wishlist.
I still can't understand why we're not after another CB - we needed one even if Kgosi had stayed but surely him leaving leaves room for another defender?
Sounds like a decent signing; relatively pleased, especially to hear about his height. I'd like us to get Wade out on loan now as there's no point him staying here as third choice as that'll completely hinder his development, especially seeing as we gave him a 3 year deal. But, good business and should 100% be an upgrade compared to last season's on loan GK.

Given the paucity of recruitment funds I am surprised we have taken a keeper on season long loan. Especially having contracted Wade for 3 years. If everyone else understands the logic, it is confirmation that I am a duffer just like the teachers said.

I agree with the sentiments that we need another CB and a striker, because we are so dependent on Hendo, and in truth I can see Done, Gilliam, Pyke , Andrew and Wilbraham , getting many goals.
With the season less then two weeks away, I am worried that we have not improved the team from the one that struggled last season.

Wade obviously not ready. I don't know what the emergency loan rules mean for us this year. Does Wade no longer count as a young goalkeeper? Probably better to have a permanent keeper if thats the case. Be interesting to see who first choice is.
