Bosman Ruling post Brexit 15:36 - Sep 4 with 1167 views | jonahwhereru | Do not want to kick of a Brexit thread🤪 But can anyone confirm if I am correct on the below. As we took all existing EU laws into British law a couple of year ago as part of Brexit preparations, the Bosman ruling is here to stay regardless of the political environment. I would expect the PFA to be rightly howling if not. I cannot see how clubs could retain control of players registration like they used to. We wouldn’t be able to attract European talent if the rule no longer applied.

Law changes further up in importance than that one to sort first. plus i'd imagine adherance to it is probably written into the UEFA laws by now which mean the FA would have to maintain it if so. Don’t want to prolong a Brexit thread but isn’t there a Hard Border debate going on?

It's unlikely, but not impossible, Brexit will affect the arrangement, known as the Common Travel Area, but which also applies to work. It's been in place since the 1920s
